The Ontogonic Body-Mind Therapy Three-Year Training, in itself, is a complete program for therapists and patients under the Ontogonic Model and is essential to understanding the theoretical foundations of the practice. Ontogonic Therapy recognizes that liberation is not possible while we are caught by the solid reality patterns of our karma. Deep healing is required for most of us to reclaim and integrate a vision that allows us to create a new reality; a reality no longer governed by neurosis and karma, but by Love, Freedom, Grace, and Enjoyment. If your vision includes becoming an Ontogonic Body-Mind Therapist, the MAGE Intensive, Ontogonic Body-Mind Therapy (Year Three) is the final component of the foundational training and completes the Three Year Training Program. It offers an integration of the previous two years and a Diploma is issued upon completion of a Thesis and/or any other requirement as requested by Dr. Carlos de León. ONTOGONIC THERAPIST CERTIFICATION PROGRAM The training is geared toward 'Mage Therapy’, a term coined by Dr. Carlos de León to denote a spontaneous connection in the ‘Here and Now’; while facilitating a deep therapy process and following the thread of the presenting neurosis. It recognizes that liberation is impossible as long as we are caught by the solid reality patterns of our karma. Our body type or 'characterology' represents a part of that karma, and one of the most difficult aspects of breaking the physical and energetic characterology is that we have learned to identify so completely with it. Carlos Castaneda called this characterological breakthrough “breaking human form”… a term suggesting that we are really cosmic beings, much more than just our bodies. Deep healing is required for most of us to reclaim and integrate a vision that allows a new reality: a reality no longer governed by neurosis and karma, but by love, freedom, grace, and enjoyment. That is the work of Mage Therapy. In this retreat, under the guidance of Dr. Carlos de Léon, each student practices as a therapist while fellow students observe and provide feedback. By engaging in this way, the deepest aspects of the therapeutic process are explored experientially, technique is polished, and one’s understanding of the principles of Ontogonic Body-Mind Therapy is further clarified and refined. Program Objectives: The vision and goals for the Ontogonic Body-Mind Therapist or Mage-Therapist include the acquisition of the following attitudes, skills, and proficiencies: Guidelines for Ontogonic Therapists: The Mage Intensive is open to students who have completed the following: And/or who meet these criteria: Please Note: Dr. Carlos de León reserves the right to assess and determine appropriateness and compatibility on an individual basis for acceptance into; Mage Intensive, Ontogonic Body-Mind Therapy (Year Three) Training Program. Further Note: While this program is a prerequisite for the completion of training in this field and receipt of a 'Diploma of Completion of Study' for the Three-Year Body-Mind Therapy Training Program, attendance does not guarantee the possibility of certification. Carlos de León reserves the right to assess and determine appropriateness and compatibility on an individual basis. The following steps are required to be accepted into Mage Intensive (Year Three) of the training program if you are not currently active in a Body-Mind Training program with Carlos de León.
