The Journey into the Tree of Life Workshop-Series prepares a unique path in Kabbalah, through guidance and direction, toward a fuller understanding of life's possibilities for the Divine Marriage with G-D. The program explores a transformation and unification of the three souls - Nefesh, Ruach and Neshama - in a process that takes us to different levels of awareness and of communion with God, preparing us better to serve. "The tree of life is growing where the spirit never dies, and the bright light of salvation Through six sessions, Carlos de León shares meditation practices and exercises of inquiry into the ten spheres of the Tree of Life, with an intent to bring awareness and light to each of the Sefirot, and deepen our connection and the experience of Love. The Tree of Life, or Etz HaChayim (עץ החיים) in Hebrew, is a term that is used to describe this complex mystical symbol used in the Kabbalah. It is also a universal archetype in human experience. We can find the symbol all the way back to the 9th century BC in Assyria! It has a strong presence during the Middle ages in European culture, with new interpretations connecting it to the Jewish mystical doctrine which is known as Kabbalah. The Tree of Life The Tree of Life is understood to represent the series of divine emanations or infinite light that creates out of nothingness (ex nihilo), bringing all the worlds into existence, including our physical reality. Kabbalists developed this symbol into a full model of reality, using the Tree to depict a map of Creation. The Tree of Life has a direct correspondence to the human body, showing that the human experience is a reflection of all Creation, the nature of revealed divinity, through the human soul and man's spiritual path of ascent. Program Components In a series of six classes Carlos explains and decodes each Sphere, emphasizing its Psychological and Spiritual implications for personal and evolutionary development. Because this is an introductory course, emphasis is given to practice techniques and ways that make this knowledge maximally useful in daily life. Our goal in this teaching is that the students obtain a strong clear understanding of the Tree of Life, along with some tools that make it a personal growth map, useful intellectually and experientially.
Format: Online Series of 6 Sessions (2.5 hours each). Class times may vary based on program content and student questions.
